Dr. Volkmann.'s resume spans over forty years as aninstructor in the sport. His younger students have gone on to compete on various college teams and he has had students on the US Armed Forces team. Several of his students have won state, regional and national medals
Paul started his fencing career at the Augusta Fencers Club while in high school; in 2005 he left for Atlanta to pursue his engineering degree at the prestigious Georgia Tech. University. While in school, he organized, coached, and captained the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Fencing Club for four years. Following his graduation, Paul found work at the Savannah River Site and moved back to the Augusta area. We are delighted to have his services.
